Tech Update – September 2021
It’s the September 2021 Gear and Tech Roundup! Here are some notable recent additions to the family of gear at TRC, all ready and waiting for your next rehearsal, writing, jam, recording, _____ session!
Computers / DAW / Software:
- New Production Suite is now available: Bookable in hour increments with no engineer requirement. Outfitted with an iMac, Focusrite 18i20, Korg SV2, Native Instruments Maschine, and a couple of microphone options. Get to work!
Microphones:
- The Warm Audio WA-47 has also made its way home and is sounding incredible – thanks to WA for a new bulb in the power supply as well! You always know what to say.
New Instruments:
- Three Korg SV2 keyboards, this time with built-in speakers! Inspiration at the tip of your fingers
- Moog Grandmother is back… we missed you Grandma!!
Amplifiers:
- Guitar amplification now in service:
- Two Vox AC30 combo amps with Celestion Blue speakers!! Chime for days!
- Keyboard amplification now in service:
- Two Vox VX50KB keyboard amps
Repair corner:
- Bugera Vintage 22 has been acting up again, little bugger!
